United4Rescue — Gemeinsam Retten e.V. is the broad alliance supporting civilian sea rescue. Help us! Wherever there is an acute lack of money for rescue operations, we provide support: across organisations, quickly and unbureaucratically. In addition, United4Rescue makes the social support for sea rescue visible. In this way, we save lives together — and challenge politics so that humanity does not become a meaningless word.
As a supporting member
- you contribute to the direct support of civilian sea rescue in the Mediterranean.
- make it clear that the right to life is non-negotiable and that rescue at sea is a humanitarian duty.
- you will also impress the tax office. Your membership fee is deductible.
- you are part of the crew and thus invited to the U4R meeting for our supporting members every year.
All you have to do is fill out the application form. Because:

What is the advantage of donating to United4Rescue?
With a donation to United4Rescue, you help sea rescue where money is most urgently needed. For example, for the purchase and conversion of rescue vessels, for equipment or operational costs. United4Rescue helps unbureaucratically across organizations with always checking the feasibility and professionalism of the funding requests. You can be sure: Your donation helps to save lives in distress at sea.
What are the advantages of a regular donation and how does a permanent donation differ from a supporting membership?
With a regular donation, whether a permanent donation or a supporting membership, you ensure that the funding of United4Rescue is predictable and secure. If you choose to become a supporting member, you will be part of our annual meeting at which we discuss the current situation in the Mediterranean and present United4Rescue's annual report.
When and how do I receive a donation receipt?
You will receive your donation receipt in February of the following year as an annual donation receipt. To issue this receipt, we need your postal address. To save costs and protect the environment, we send donation receipts via email with a secure link that leads to your receipt as a PDF document. Can forwarded donations from third parties receive their own donation receipt?
Unfortunately, no. Donation receipts can only be issued for the person or organization that transferred the donation. Only those who donate themselves can receive a donation receipt. Please draw attention to this if you are collecting donations from friends, for example.
