1. Start a fundraising campaign
We are happy to help you get started with your online fundraising campaign for United4Rescue quickly and easily: Together with a colleague from our donation administration team, you can decide on the title, donation target and all other details for your fundraising campaign. When the campaign starts, we will create your personal fundraising website and send you a unique link and QR code to share via messenger, email or social media.

2. Request a transfer to our donation account
Ask your guests or supporters to make a transfer directly to our donation account. A unique reference code will help us to allocate the incoming donations to your event. Enclose an information sheet with your invitations containing account details and the reference. code. We are happy to send you information flyers, posters, stickers and flags by post.
Upon request, you will receive an overview of the donations received four weeks after the end of your fundraising campaign. This overview contains the names of all donors and the total amount of donations received. For your information: for data protection reasons, we do not create an overview in which donations are assigned to individual donors.
In February of the following year, all donors will receive a donation receipt (suitable for German Finanzamt).
3. Collect cash donations
Collect cash on behalf of United4Rescue at concerts, christenings or summer festivals. To draw attention to the campaign, we will be happy to send you information flyers, stickers, flags and posters by post. After the campaign, you can transfer the donations collected to our donation account.
As the transferor, you will receive a receipt for the total donation received.

What is the advantage of donating to United4Rescue?
With a donation to United4Rescue, you help sea rescue where money is most urgently needed. For example, for the purchase and conversion of rescue vessels, for equipment or operational costs. United4Rescue helps unbureaucratically across organizations with always checking the feasibility and professionalism of the funding requests. You can be sure: Your donation helps to save lives in distress at sea.
What are the advantages of a regular donation and how does a permanent donation differ from a supporting membership?
With a regular donation, whether a permanent donation or a supporting membership, you ensure that the funding of United4Rescue is predictable and secure. If you choose to become a supporting member, you will be part of our annual meeting at which we discuss the current situation in the Mediterranean and present United4Rescue's annual report.

When and how do I receive a donation receipt?
You will receive your donation receipt in February of the following year as an annual donation receipt. To issue this receipt, we need your postal address. To save costs and protect the environment, we send donation receipts via email with a secure link that leads to your receipt as a PDF document. Can forwarded donations from third parties receive their own donation receipt?
Unfortunately, no. Donation receipts can only be issued for the person or organization that transferred the donation. Only those who donate themselves can receive a donation receipt. Please draw attention to this if you are collecting donations from friends, for example.
