Ansgar Gilster
I am Ansgar Gilster and have been working on migration and human rights in the Church Office of the EKD since 2016. The humanitarian catastrophe at the EU's external border is an essential topic of this work. In the face of Europe's increasing policy of sealing itself off, civil engagement and social alliances are needed more than ever to return to a policy that saves lives and respects human rights. That is why I campaigned for the founding of United4Rescue and am committed to our goals.
